Cardiff University Paediatric Society (CUPS) is a Gold Tier Society aimed mainly at all healthcare students, (nurses, OT, physio, pharmacy and medics) but may be of interest to those interested in working with children in their future careers, such as teaching. We organise events and activities throughout the year that will develop interest and encourage students to excel within the field of paediatrics and childcare. CUPS has many projects including the award-winning Asthma Aware scheme for KS1 education and the Flamingo Chicks Dancing volunteering scheme along with the various symposiums and workshops held throughout the year. Our charity for 2017/18 is Ty Hafan, a local children's hospice which we'll be supporting through various fundraising events throughout the year.
